SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THIS PATTERN: None, persay. This would make a good beginner pattern if you learn well from instructional videos. How to knit and purl are not described in this pattern, but can be found on my website under “Knitting>Stitch Tutorials.”
YARN: 2 skeins jumbo weight yarn: 300 g/10.58 oz; 59 m/64 yds Bernat Mega Bulky (I used Linen); (Yardage required: 117 m/128 yds)
NEEDLES & NOTIONS: 15.0 mm/US 19 straight needles (at least 12”/30 cm long is best); Optional: largish crochet hook for Provisional Cast On and scrap yarn at least 100 inches/2.5 m long; yarn needle; 20x20 inch/50x50 cm pillow form;
Printing Suggestion: If you choose to print this pattern, it will be easiest to follow if you print it double-sided and staple it down the left side in booklet form. Also, choose the "Print Actual Size" option in your print dialogue box to make sure the sewing patterns are printed accurately.
