This Week in BATL: Chapter 7, Personal & Writing Updates, New Members
Wow, I canβt believe the Books and Tea League only launched three and a half weeks ago! Itβs been an exciting month as I figure out how to make sure all the moving pieces are working as they should and integrate the content creation into my workload. Not everything has gone as I planned, but itβs been pretty good overall.
And weβre now up to eleven members! Woot! Please welcome new members this week: Theresa, Claire, Linda, Laura, and Maria. Iβm so thrilled youβre here!
By the way, for Loyalists and above still waiting for your welcome packages: after much frustration, I finally found out what the delay was for the last item I was waiting for. I just checked the tracking on it, and it was delivered to my local depot six minutes ago. Not sure Iβll be able to pick it up tonight (Iβll have to check their hours), but no matter what, your packages will be in the mail on Monday. Yay!

Work in Progress
Chapter 7 for Every Bell that Rings is now live. The plot thickens, as Noel and Stephanieβs sister concoct a plan to make Stephanie fall in love with Christmas.
WIP chapters are available to everyone to Chapter 3, and Loyalists and above past that.
Letters from My Writing Desk
This morning, I posted an all-tiers Fireside chat post called βA Personal Update and a Writing Breakthrough.β In it, I give a very long look at whatβs been happening in my real life and how thatβs affected my writing life over the last couple of years. Also, some recent breakthroughs Iβve had that have made me excited for the future.
As I explain in the post, this week has been very full as I try to work ahead on some content. Thatβs why this post went up so late. However, Iβve spent today prepping some future posts so I can accomplish that goal of working ahead, so expect to see some more fun stuff going live in the next week.
But, since this went live today, Iβm not sending out a separate notification for it. Consider this to be it. :-)
Tea with Talena
Last Friday was the first Tea with Talena monthly online meetup. Jossie and I had a great time getting to know each other better, but we both agreed that we couldnβt wait to have more people join the community so we could really explore some of our favourite things and connect with other people over books, especially my books. Iβll be setting the date for the next meetup next week, and I would love to see a few more faces join us this month.
