This year, I'm taking my knitting business in a slightly new direction, one designed to respark my joy, to borrow an overused trending phrase. I have decided to take a year off of publishing new patterns, and have declared this my "Year of Playing With Words and Yarn." That means you’ll be hearing more about knitting. And that’s a good thing.

When I crashed and burned, it made room for a new paradigm—accepting who I am as an artist and what I truly want from my life. This year is looking brighter already.

Last week, there were several exciting things that happened in my writing career: The Undine’s Tear hit the top 100 on Amazon, I was featured on Mark Leslie Lefebvre’s podcast, and I finished the zero draft of The Spinx’s Heart. But the most exciting thing for me personally was discovering the possibilities of dictation as a productivity tool. This post is mostly me geeking out about it. (But there’s also a sale link.)
