Early in my songwriting journey, I really struggled to write love songs. I was head-over-heels in love with my spouse, but setting it to music? No words seemed to do it justice.
This song was the first completed love song I wrote—for him, and at all. It’s basically about the frustration of trying to write a song and failing so often. He loves it. I love it. I hope you’ll love it too, and also think it’s a love song to remember.
